The finalists for Lab Awards 2023 have been revealed, and we’re thrilled to announce that CoolMed has been shortlisted in the “Best Technology Innovation” and “Supplier Excellence” categories.
The Lab Awards celebrate the best of laboratory equipment innovation and supply across the UK, and we’re extremely pleased that our commitment to delivering groundbreaking, high-quality products is being recognised.
CoolMed’s Lab Awards Nomination
Our nominations for the “Best Technology Innovation” and “Supplier Excellence” awards are recognition of the hard work and creativity the CoolMed team have poured into their work, delivering cutting-edge cold storage solutions.

CoolMed’s Recent Achievements
Last Summer we introduced our new RTS cabinets. These are specifically designed to meet the demands of clinical establishments in need of dependable ambient or room temperature storage solutions. We also expanded our Laboratory Essentials range to include new under-counter Lab Fridge and Freezers (CELL156 & CEFL98) and launched a new free-standing fridge-freezer (CMLFF260). All of these new products have proven popular throughout 2023
Environmental conservation remains at the forefront of our agenda. We are committed to minimising our ecological impact, focusing on substantial reductions in our carbon emissions. Our collaboration with Cool Earth, empowers us to work with rainforest communities to curtail deforestation and mitigate climate change. Our partnership with Earthly also reinforces our efforts to reduce carbon footprints. With their help we have exceeded expectations by neutralising 110% of our corporate environmental impact, making CoolMed a climate positive business.
As we ushered in 2023, we were honoured to be featured in the ‘2023 Startups 100 Index’, underscoring our prominence as one the UK’s best suppliers of medical fridges. We are proud to be nominated for two Lab Awards as the latest in these achievements.

The winners of the Lab Awards 2023 will be announced on 1 November 2023 at the Vox Birmingham.
