CoolMed Shortlisted for the Medical, Life Sciences & Health Care Award at This Years’ Made in the North-West Awards

The finalists for Insider’s Made in the North West Awards 2023 have been revealed, and we’re thrilled to announce that CoolMed has been shortlisted in the “Medical, Life Sciences & Health Care” category.

The Made in the North West Awards celebrate the very best of manufacturing excellence across the region, and we’re extremely pleased that our commitment to delivering high-quality products and exemplary customer service has been recognised.

CoolMed’s Made in the North West Award Nomination

Our nomination for the “Medical, Life Sciences & Health Care” award is recognition of the hard work and dedication the entire CoolMed team has poured into their work over the past 12 months. The team have worked tirelessly to develop and deliver world-class products and services to our customers.

Speaking on the nomination, our CEO, Stephen Johnson, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be nominated for a Made in the North West Award once again. It’s hugely rewarding to have been recognised alongside so many other esteemed companies that operate within the North-West region. I’m also really pleased the hard work and effort our team have put into their work over the past 12 months has been identified.”

CoolMed Over the Past 12 Months

Over the past 12 months we’ve grown rapidly to meet the demands of the healthcare industry, launching new products along the way. Our range of RTS cabinets was launched last summer to answer the needs of clinical facilities that require reliable ambient or room temperature storage.

We’re also continually striving to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible to help protect the environment and lower our emissions.

To reduce our carbon footprint, we’ve partnered with Cool Earth who work alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation and climate change. We also partner with Earthly to complement our carbon reduction strategy. In doing so, we now balance 110% of our business impact through nature-based solutions, making us a climate positive business!

The start of 2023 saw us listed in the 2023 Startups 100 Index, cementing our position as a leading medical fridge supplier. We hope to add “Made in the North West Awards Winners” to our roster soon!

Made in the North West Awards Ceremony

The winners of the Made in the North West Awards 2023 will be announced on 25^th May 2023 at a black-tie ceremony held at Mercure Piccadilly Hotel, Manchester.
